Sometimes, the the simplest things are the most trying to produce. That is not the case with Andy Smith. His style is unparalleled in it's simplicity and raw quality. He's the only illustrator I know of that I can honestly say could make a stick figure look good. I've often visited Andy's portfolio for inspiration in developing hand-rendered type treated ideas for certain projects but nothing I could conjur comes close.
